I practice both psychotherapy and medication management, in person and via telehealth, for adults with a wide range of psychiatric conditions and issues.
I am a board-certified psychiatrist and am on faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. I am in private practice in New York City and Westchester County.
I also have an expertise in Reproductive Psychiatry—treating women who are trying to conceive, are pregnant or postpartum, or who are facing other reproductive related challenges.
For over a decade, I have been a member of the Cornell Faculty as Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Attending Psychiatrist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
I supervise and teach psychiatry residents in Weill Cornell’s Payne Whitney Women’s Program, a mental health clinic that caters to the unique needs of women throughout the reproductive life cycle.
Education & Training
I earned my undergraduate degree from Princeton University and my Doctor of Medicine degree, with Distinction in Research, from The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.
I have conducted and published research at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston (where I was a recipient of a Schwartz Center grant), Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York (where I was awarded the Rudin Fellowship) and the Royal Marsden Cancer Center in London (where I was awarded the Hadden Fellowship for original oncology research).
I completed my psychiatry training at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute Psychiatry Residency Training Program. I was the chief resident of the Interpersonal Therapy clinic at UCLA, and was the recipient of the UCLA Department of Psychiatry 2006 Outstanding Teaching Resident Award.
I am extensively trained in the latest techniques and modalities for the prevention, treatment and management of a wide range of psychiatric issues and illnesses.

While I am able to assist patients with a wide range of conditions and symptoms, I have a particular expertise in Women’s Mental Health / Reproductive Psychiatry.
I also have expertise in a range of different psychotherapies, including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (a long-term treatment for a variety of conditions or issues), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (a short-term treatment for depression focusing on interpersonal relationships), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (a short term treatment focusing on how your thoughts affect how you feel and behave).
I have published articles and book chapters- and have presented my research findings in a number of forums.
I am an active member of The American Psychiatric Association, Postpartum Support International, North American Society for Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynecology, Women’s Mental Health Consortium, and Marcé of North America.

Women’s Mental Health
While the many transitions that women go through in life can be joyous, they can also be quite challenging and stressful. I offer help for issues surrounding pregnancy, postpartum, menstruation, infertility, menopause, and grief/loss.
Medication Management
I provide medication managment for a variety of psychiatric conditions. I will work closely with you to find the right medication plan for you.
Psychotherapy
I offer psychotherapy to adults experiencing a variety of challenges including depression, worry and anxiety, sadness and grief, stress and relationship issues.
Telehealth
I provide telehealth via a HIPAA compliant digital health app to those in New York, Connecticut, Florida, and California. Telehealth is a safe, convenient, and effective way to get the help that you need.
